National Education Day
"Teaching by tongue can be perspired but by good deed can stay stronger". these motivating words by Maulana Abdul Kalam Azad brighten so many future, guided so many brains and many more things that these words merely cannot explain...!!!
His work on spreading education to every corner of this nation really deserves a tribute we can heartily offer..!!! On this very auspicious occasion of his birthday...JECRC UDML College of Engineering honour him by celebrating this day as National Education Day...!!!
Microsoft Student Partner (MSP)
Three students were selected as "Microsoft Student Partner (MSP)" by Microsoft from our JECRC UDML Campus. These students were also invited to attend an All-India Mega Annual MSP- MSA Summit organized by Microsoft at the Microsoft Innovation Center (MIC)- Bhopal, MP on 9th & 10th November 2014.
The MSP Program is active in over 80 countries around the world. MSP Students will represent their global region and their local campus as Microsoft Technology Experts.
The name of selected students are:
- Monu Kumar(CSE 7th Sem)
- Aditya Kumar(CSE 5th Sem)
- Anurag Sharma (CSE 5th Sem)
Rashtriya Ekta Diwas Celebration
With a view to maintaining the unity, integrity, safety and security of the country, JECRC UDML celebrated "Rashtriya Ekta Diwas" (National Unity Day) on 31st October 2014 on the occasion of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel’s birth anniversary with great zeal and enthusiasm.
Students of the college participated in the collaborative events like
- Debate competition on “Should Army training be compulsory along with education”
- Nukkad Natak on “Power of Unity”
- Message by Dean HR to reaffirm the inherent strength and resilience of our Nation to withstand the actual and potential threats to the Unity, Integrity, Safety and Security of the Country.
RTU Vice Chancellor Visit to JECRC UDML
Prof. Nalinaksh S. Vyas, Vice - Chancellor of Rajasthan Technical University, Kota visited our campus JECRC UDML College of Engineering. He interacted with faculty members and the students. During his speech, he laid emphasis on developing instruments for spray of pesticides and use of farmers and general public. He was also impressed by a good number of projects made by our students.
Vishwarkama Jayanti Pooja by Mechanical Department
Mechanical Department celebrated "Vishwarkama Jayanti" at Mechanical workshop. Pooja was started at 10 am. Program was hosted by "Pandit Satyanarayan Ji". Program started with the pooja of Lord Vishwarkama followed by the "Yagya". Executive Director, Principal, Registrar and Prof. Utpal Chakravarty (HOD, Mech.) and all other faculties of college attended this function. Yagya was followed by the Aarti of God Vishwarkama. The program concluded with the Prasad distribution.
On the Occasion of Engineer's Day.......Second year Students of JECRC UDML College of Engineering welcomed their juniors with a rocking & exciting Fresher's Party labeled ‘AURA 2014’ on 15th September 2014 with open hand and more than that with open heart.
On this occasion a plethora of cultural and academic activities such as Group Dance, Solo Dance, Mr. and Ms. Fresher & GTS were presented by students which made the audiences spell bound. Some off-stage events like LAN Gaming, Treasure Hunt, Rangoli making competition, Flash Mob, Face painting, 3D sketching, Blind fold and Dramatics added charm n fun to the function and gave chance to the students to explore their capabilities.
Teacher's Day Celebration @JECRC UDML
Teaching is the profession that teaches all the other professions. Teacher’s day was celebrated with great fun and frolic in ‘JECRC UDML College of Engineering. All the Dignitaries, Faculties and Students were invited to this auspicious function of Teacher’s day. The function started with the lightning of lamp followed by Saraswati Vandana. Students showed their regards towards all the faculty members by Cake Cutting Ceremony. Various colourful programmes like Dance, Singing, Poetry, Speeches were performed by the students. All the faculties and the students enjoyed the function. At the end of the function vote of thanks was given by Acting Principal Prof. Uttpal Chakravarty ( HOD ME Dept.)
