HUSSAIN BROTHERS GO CANDID IN A SHORT INTERVIEW WITH THE UDML MEDIA LEAGUERead More
It was a great opportunity for the members of our team to meet the Ghazal Maestros, and interact with them.
In a short interview, taken by us, the duo talked about the present scenario of music and the revolution that has taken place in the musical arena.
It was the second time they came to our college, and were highly elated to attend the inaugural ceremony. The bond they share with UDML is reflected by the fact that, they cancelled their scheduled Cataract eye operation, to oblige us with their presence.
In a rendezvous the maestros discussed about how well rooted they are with the classical music along with their past 7 generations.
When questioned about the present scenario of music, they opined that the dignity and chastity of the lyrics have been given a back seat and the soul of music is found missing. In this “fast food era” , the austere and devotional nature of music , is wrapped in “ready to eat” meals and served instantaneously.
Thus the true essence of classical music is on the verge of extinction. Owing to this fact the duo is putting every possible effort to revive and keep the heart and soul of Indian Classical Music alive.

"Talent wins games, but teamwork and intelligence win championships". Following this quote a team of second year students of our college has rolled up their sleeves for UAS unmanned aircraft system championship going to be organised at RTU Kota on 9th April.
The Team named ‘Indian Garuds’ consists of 5 members in which –
Rizwan Khan, Rishi Gogoira, Rahul Meena, Sanjay yadav – are from mechanical branch of our college and Ajay Sharma is an x-NCC cadet.
Keeping all the difficulties aside they have made an unmanned aircraft system which they call King-KSR. This aircraft system is able to lift a payload of more than 2kg using GPS technology. According to Rishi, “We were greatly inspired by the words of our principal sir Dr. Ramratan and thus decided to make this type of aircraft which finds great applications in the field of farming like sprinkling of pesticides, spreading seeds etc.”
According to Rizwan, “The range of the aircraft is more than 500 meters and it is capable of performing power stunt aerobatics efficiently. The plane has an auto pilot mode which works on coding instructions.”
The team was mentored by Kaushal Singh Rathore, Senior instructor NCC one Raj air squadron, Jaipur and Utpal sir (HOD Mechanical), Suresh Gurjar sir (Dy. HOD Mechanical).
