The technical maniacs of Team Zenith of JECRC UDML College of Engineering came up with yet another piece of wonder. But this time, out-matching themselves, their flying aircraft was shammed by its successor, the UDML Drone which is basically a Quadcopter. The UDML Drone is the first of this kind of achievement in the entire realm of Rajasthan which was officially made public by the Vice chancellor of Rajasthan Technical University Mr S.N Vyas during his visit to the JECRC UDML campus at Kukas of the JECRC Foundation. college Principal Dr Ram Rattan too encouraged students for the same. Mr. Arpit Agrawal has already put in place a system of venture capital funding for motivating the students to march Ahead.
The RC operated, 8 kg weighing drone is festooned with a 40 MP HD camera. The UDML Drone is proposed to be used for live surveillance under various required and suited situations. This will also find its usage in capturing moments during social events, rallies, elections etc. Showing vast horizontal and vertical ranges of 100 m and 100 ft respectively, the UDML Drone allows the user to have a fairly handsome area under his disposal for observation.
The credit of the successful making of UDML Drone goes to the member of team Zenith –Akshat atrey(ME Branch,4th Year ) Rajendra Jain (ME 4th Year),Tanmay Chaturvedi (ME -3rd Year) and Ravi Yadav (ECE 1st Year) under the guidance of Prof Utpal Chakrawarty , The project Head and H.O.D Mechanical Dept. of JECRC UDML College of Engg.
The UDML Drone is THE BEST project of the students so far and shows a quantum leap in their understanding of mechanics.
