Initiatives towards Research and Development are thoughtfully recognized right from the inception of the Institute. All endeavors are directed towards this mindset to percolate the spirit of research among students and faculty. Keeping this in view, the College organized a two-day National Conference on "Emerging Trends in Renewable Energy Technology" on its campus on 20 & 21 April 2012, in which over 70 delegates from IITs, NITs, BITS-Pilani, Engineering Colleges and CCI etc. participated from all across the country. The inaugural function was Chaired by Mr. P. C. Pant, Director, MNRE and Paper Presentations, Expert Talks and Seminars were held during various sessions chaired by eminent Professors from IITs, NITs, BITS, IGNOU, University of Rajasthan, MNRE, DST, Consultants, etc.

    The International conference on Futuristic Trends in Mechanical & Industrial Engineering was organized on 18 & 19 January, 2013 which witnessed the presence of world renowned academicians, researchers, industry personnel, faculty members and students from India and across the globe. Personalities like Dr. Krishna Vedula (IUCEE), Dr. Bharat Soni (University of Alabama), Dr. Sanjeev K Khanna (University of Missouri), Dr. Mahesh C Aggarwal (Gannon University), Dr. Abhijit Bhattacharyya (University of Arkansas) and Mr. Bernhard Weyers (Bosch) shared their knowledge and experience. The conference discussed specific tenets and developments in Mechanical Manufacturing and Industrial Engineering. The participants got an opportunity to explore the work being carried out in foreign & Indian Universities and Institutions along with the requirements of the industry globally.
